P.Diddy Proves My Previous Blog Post About Him Is Spot On |
Anyway, my wife loathes them. It's hilarious to watch her deal with them. I've learned to stay about 20 metres behind her so that I am not associated with her mad ramblings and extremely dismissive attitude. Neither of us like them but each of us deals with them differently.
When my wife sees the voting vermin she goes red, her lips purse, and she puts her war face on. She strides up to them like an angry sergeant, mumbling all kinds of hateful wishes under her breath and groans with displeasure every time they try to persuade her to take a leaflet, occasionally even having some harsh words for them as she walks away.
I on the other hand casually walk through them with a smile on my face and ignore their existence. If they bug me to take one of their papers I just keep smiling, shake my head, and walk away - calm in the knowledge of who I want to vote for and how.
Both approaches have their merit and in any case neither of us really enjoys dealing with voting vermin. I'd like to see them outlawed and replaced with a table that has the various political parties' 'How to Vote' leaflets on them so that we are treated as adults who are capable of making our own decisions and can choose to use one of those leaflets if we want to do so. In the meantime, it seems the voting vermin are here to stay.
